Travel like the locals used to do and join us for this fjordcruise connecting the coastal town of Ålesund and the beautiful Unesco Geirangerfjord. In 3 hours one-way, you will take in 3 distinctive Fjords and spectacular landscapes along the way, including The Seven Sister and The Suitor waterfalls.
Our brand new catamaran, the MS Geirangerfjord II has been specifically designed in Norway to enhance the Fjord sightseeing experience. This vessel is the perfect size to chater individuals and groups on the route from Ålesund to Geiranger. Experience how people traditionally traveled to Geiranger before the development of the road network.
Listen to the audio guide on this route in Norwegian, English, German, Italian, French, Dutch, Spanish, Korean, Japanise and Mandarin. This has been locally written to gather the stories of the fjord farms and areas only accessible by boat.
Enjoy the 3-hours fjordcruise with a cup of coffee and light refreshments while traveling from the coast to the fjord. We offer a round-trip day tour (= 9 hours) with the starting point in Ålesund. Or choose for a one-way (= 3 hours) trip, in both directions, so you can enjoy Geiranger for a single day or stay several nights. The round-trip tour gives you the time to explore the village of Geiranger, enjoy some lunch, join a bus tour and watch the spectacular viewpoints, rent an e-car or e-bike, walk the waterfall stairs or visit the fjordmuseum. Via a bus tour you can behold the closest viewpoints Eagles bend & Flydalsjuvet, or why not visit the spectacular views of the Dalsnibba/skywalk?
If you are lucky enough to stay a couple days we can help to organise your stay and plan your itinerary, be it a guided kayaking trip, relaxing in a spa or enjoying a good meal.
