There is virtually nowhere else on earth it is possible to experience such fantastic views and spectacular natural surroundings. The nature is overwhelming. Footpaths of varying degrees of difficulty pass through the refreshing and unspoiled landscape. There is an atmosphere of knowledge and experience, preservation and protection, co-operation and peaceful co-existence. Efforts are made to spread information about new ideas aimed at encouraging positive development in the area. Geirangerfjord is one of the few World Heritage Sites where people actually live!
