One of Norway’s most beautiful mountain peaks – 1500m above sea level

Dalsnibba is one of the main attractions in Geiranger, a mountain peak that is extremely popular among visitors to the area. From the Dalsnibba mountain plateau there is an amazing view over the most beautiful of UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites, surrounded by mountains, with the Geirangerfjord as its centrepiece.

The plateau has a large car park, a modern service centre with toilet facilities, a shop and a small cafe. The shop sells coffee and freshly baked bread and cakes, as well as a wide selection of souvenirs, clothes and books.
The building is located at the northern end of the plateau and is constructed in natural stone, wood and glass, with zinc roof slabs. In addition to the space used for technical purposes, the building also houses a guest toilet.
